Diversity Makes Us Strong
Fresh Food Grows Culture
Each market highlights seasonal produce and showcases the cultural diversity of Houston’s food scene, providing visitors with free education, spotlighting other local makers and organizations making a difference toward the city’s green future, and offering Houstonians the opportunity to connect directly to freshly harvested produce, right in the heart of the city at the former Barbara Jordan US Post Office.

We encourage the use of freshly harvested produce from Skyfarm

Regenerative and Sustainable Practices
It Starts with Our Food
Our mission with the Blackwood Skyfarmers Market at POST Houston is to provide fresh, local, nutrient-dense food grown using regenerative practices to as many Houstonians as possible. The market also aims to educate all visitors on how to both improve individual and community health outcomes and contribute to a more resilient environment and local economy by consuming more local, regeneratively grown foods at home. agriculture. In its third year, Skyfarm is located atop POST Houston, and part of the Texas-sized 5 acre rooftop park and farm with views of Downtown.
