Fall on the Farm is Here- Here’s how to connect with us!

Grow Food, Make Food, Share Food

Oct 14, 2025 | Grow Food, Make Food, Share Food

The air is getting cooler and fall is here, as much as we could ask for here in Houston. So much is happening at Blackwood and we look forward to connecting with you at one of our two farms, at a dinner or maybe the farmers market.

Skyfarm has started back its Open Farm Days and Volunteer Days. These happen weekly, are totally free to join and a great way to connect with our Skyfarmer, August, and learn firsthand what’s happening on the rooftop. Check out the full calendar here.

Blackwood has returned to Urban Harvest Farmers Market so if you’re looking for farm fresh produce you can find us here every Saturday from 8-12. We also host our weekly Agritourism day on Saturdays in Hempstead, out at our 33 acre landfarm. You might not know this, but our start to farming was on the ground, not the roof!

And lastly, December 5 will be our next Gathered Table Farm to Table Dinner.

If you would like to see what we are up to please sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media @blackwoodsky.
